Tyler Culberson of Standard Brokerage Company Appointed to Center for Economic Growth Leadership Board
Albany, NY — March 6, 2026 — Standard Brokerage Company is proud to announce that its Founder, President & Principal Broker, Tyler Culberson, SIOR, has been appointed to the Leadership Board of the Center for Economic Growth (CEG), the Capital Region’s primary nonprofit economic development organization.
CEG serves as a catalyst for business attraction, expansion, and job creation across Albany and New York’s eight-county Capital Region, working alongside regional partners to strengthen economic opportunity and long-term growth. Through its affiliation with the Capital Region Chamber and its leadership of the region’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Center, CEG plays a central role in supporting manufacturing, technology, workforce development, and business investment across the region.
Culberson’s appointment reflects his longstanding commitment to the Capital Region’s industrial and economic landscape. As a commercial real estate advisor specializing in industrial properties across the Capital District, Hudson Valley, and Upstate New York, he has spent nearly two decades working with manufacturers, logistics operators, developers, and investors whose real estate decisions directly influence regional job growth and economic activity.

Since entering the industry in 2008, Culberson has completed more than $1 billion in career transaction volume and is widely recognized for his advisory-first approach to industrial real estate strategy. In 2016, he earned the prestigious SIOR designation, and in 2022 was named Dealmaker of the Year by the Albany Business Review. In 2024, he founded Standard Brokerage Company with a mission to elevate client outcomes through best-in-class market intelligence and strategic guidance.
Culberson also serves on numerous professional and civic boards, including as 2024 President of CIREB, and remains actively involved with chambers of commerce and economic development organizations throughout the region.
